NNPC’s PMS Reserve Stock Hits 2 Billion Litres from 1.7 Billion

……….Cautions Nigerians over Panic Buying……..

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company limited (NNPC) reserve Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as Petrol hits 2 billion litres from 1.7 billion litres and has cautioned Nigerians not to engage in panic buying.

NNPC is therefore once again assuring Nigerians that it has a sufficient volume of the product that will last far beyond this festive period.

“We are expressing our appreciation to Nigerians for always heeding to our appeal not to engage in panic buying of petrol. Indeed, our stock has risen from a reserve of 1.7 billion litres to over two billion litres within the last one month.

“Thus, we once again urge Nigerians not to engage in panic buying but to fully enjoy the spirit of the festive season as we continue to work tirelessly to ensure sufficient supply of petrol to every part of the country.

“Once again the NNPC extends sincere appreciations to all Nigerians for your understanding and support ” Garba Deen Mohammad, GGM, Group Public Affair Division, NNPC said in a statement.
