NLNG: Daukoru Takes Over Office as Chairman from LongJohn

The newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nigeria Limited (NLNG), Dr. Edmund Daukoru has taken over office from the out-going chairman of the Board, Dr. Osobonye LongJohn.

The hand over ceremony at the Corporate headquarters of NLNG in Port Harcourt took place after the conclusion of normal Board protocols and processes to facilitate the formal appointment and consequent handover process between the outgoing Chairman and the incoming one.

A statement issued by General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development, Eyono Fatayi-Williams explained that the event was witnessed by Managing Director of the Company, Tony Attah, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Sadeeq Mai-Bornu, General Counsel/Company Secretary, Mr. Aka Nwokedi, amongst others.

Dr Daukoruis a former Minister of State for Energy and former Secretary General of the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

Also joining the Board as Directors are Engr. Henry Ikem Obihand Dr. Rabiu Suleiman who took over from outgoing Directors, Chief (Mrs.) Cordelia Agboti and Ambassador Bagudu Hirse.Engr.
