A delegation from the Norwegian Embassy and the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has paid a courtesy call to the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) in a bid to explore areas of collaboration for mutual benefit.
The visit marks a significant step towards strengthening cooperation in the power sector, particularly in the field of renewable energy.
The Norwegian Government’s Energy for Development Program is a new initiative which focuses on renewable energy in development cooperation. The meeting explored avenues for collaboration through capacity building and mutual development projects.
