As the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) sets to hold it’s annual flagship conference slated for next month November with title “Global Energy Transition and the Future of Oil Gas Industry: Evolving Regulations, Emerging Concepts and Opportunities” the Association has roll out the pre- conference events taking place this month, October.
The pre- conference events which among others things include a talkshop and a charity walk.
NAPE said in a Statement that the pre-Conference events are open to everyone and designed as collaborative knowledge-building, social and networking sessions.
According to NAPE the charity walk will be a walk and chat event focused on promoting members’ mental well-being. Donation proceeds from this event will be used to support an identified cause.
NAPE pointed out that the pre conference talkshop will x-raying the topic “Energy Security and Transition Strategies” Adding that Industry captains, speakers, members will lend their expertise to collaboratively design implementable strategies that will be shared to the Nigerian Legislative and Executive arm.
“The outcome of the PCW is a published communique, and previous editions have followed through a systemic process of implementation on issues that have served the industry.
“Golf Tournament: We ain’t simply hole-ing balls with the fewest strokes. Participants will also enjoy an immerseive Akwa Ibom cultural experience while playing a sport rich in tradition, history and entrenched in networking” NAPE explained.
“Virtual Field Trip will be a Guided through expert lenses, the field lover in you will travass several formations with the objective to understand the Implications of the Santonian Orogeny on the Hydrocarbon Potential of the Southern Benue Trough. And Short Courses: Six parallel knowledge sharing sessions to enhance your technical skills” the Association said
NAPE pointed out that registration for Pre-Conference events is based on the principle of “First come, first served”
“Don’t hesitate to register early. These events are actively planned to stimulate active participation and interaction between all members. Don’t be left out” they said.
