Continental Hotels Celebrates Festive Season with Luxury, Culture, and Wellness Offerings

This holiday season, Continental Hotels in Lagos and Abuja are inviting guests to experience the fusion of Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity with world-class comfort and luxury. The hotels, offering a total of 947 elegantly designed rooms and suites, are set to enchant guests with exclusive festive packages featuring gourmet dining, live entertainment, festive-themed rooms, and wellness activities.

Karl Hala, the Group General Manager of Continental Hotels, emphasized the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for both business and leisure travelers. “Our hotels boast over 5,000 square meters of state-of-the-art event spaces, including pillar-less ballrooms accommodating up to 3,500 guests,” he stated. These versatile event spaces make the hotels ideal for conferences, weddings, and corporate gatherings.

The hotels’ culinary offerings are equally impressive, with 12 restaurants and bars serving diverse local and international cuisines. The Abuja property, in particular, is home to the vibrant Ladi Kwali Sports Village, equipped for team bonding and wellness activities, featuring courts for pickleball, padel, volleyball, squash, and tennis. A newly opened Ladi Kwali Conference Centre provides additional meeting spaces for both local and international events.

Hala praised the dedication of the Continental Hotels’ staff, acknowledging their extensive training and passion for hospitality. “Their commitment to excellence ensures memorable guest experiences,” he said.

Both hotels are also known for rewarding loyal customers with exclusive programs that include perks such as complimentary breakfasts and access to recreational facilities during promotional periods. This festive season, guests can expect a series of enchanting celebrations, including festive-themed rooms, live entertainment, and wellness packages, creating a warm and inviting holiday atmosphere.

Highlighting the brand’s broader impact, Hala mentioned the role Continental Hotels plays in Nigeria’s economic diversification. “We host over 20,000 events monthly in Lagos alone,” he said, noting ongoing renovation projects in Abuja and Lagos that reflect the company’s commitment to elevating hospitality standards and driving job creation.

“Our goal is to position Nigeria as a competitive tourism hub alongside cities like Cape Town and Accra,” Hala concluded, emphasizing the importance of investing in infrastructure, sustainability, and cultural promotion.
