Flybird Aircraft Safely Returns to Abuja Following In-Flight Incident

On December 6, 2024, a Hawker 900XP aircraft operated by Flybird Aircraft Management Services Limited (AMSL) made an emergency return to Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja, after experiencing an in-flight incident en route to Kotoka Airport, Accra. The aircraft, with registration 5N-KAL, was carrying three crew members and one passenger, all of whom were reported safe and unharmed.

Flybird AMSL confirmed the incident in a statement, emphasizing that the decision to return to Abuja was a precautionary measure in line with established safety protocols. “We want to inform the public that all persons on board, including three crew members and a passenger, are safe and unharmed,” the company stated.
