Fuel Crisis : DSS Gives Marketers Marching Order to Clear Queue at Service Stations

The Department of State Services, DSS, has given marching order to all the petroleum products marketers and other agencies involved in the supply and distribution of Petrol to clear the current long queue being experienced at the various device stations nationwide.

DSS on Thursday gave a 48-hour ultimatum to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, and other stakeholders in the Oil Sector to resolve the ongoing fuel crisis.

The DSS threatened that it would launch manhunt for any destructive tendencies if after 48 hours there is still queues at various feeling stations on the country.

The Spokesman of the Intelligent agency Peter Afunanya, stated this at the headquarters of the service in Abuja shortly after the Director-General of DSS met with the stakeholders.

The stakeholders who attended the meeting included MOMAN, DEPMAN, IPMAN, NNPC, NARTO, NUPENG and PTD.
